It has been a while since we updated our walks.  Life has been keeping us busy.  This morning we checked out a new walk.  The Bee Branch Restoration project is a beautiful and a very useful flood mitigation park.  The Bee Branch which meanders through north east Dubuque has caused a lot of damage to home owners over the pass several years. July 12 – Day 54

The morning after!  We had 3 inches of rain last night.  We thought an early walk would be nice before the world heats up.

June 21 – Day 42

Evening walk today, cloudy and a bit cool.  It is trying to rain.

June 14 – Day 38

Today started cool and breezy, we got our first walk in before a fast moving rain storm.

May 21 – Day 20

Another rainy day, we headed out to the Heritage Trail hoping to get 2 or 3 miles in before the rain came.  No such luck.  Spring flowers are out in abundance.  False Solomon Seal (Maianthemum racemosum), Marshmallow Plant (Althaea sp.)

May 20 – Day 19

Well, we missed our walk yesterday, but I feel that a few stumbles are normal.

Today’s walk was between rain storms.

May 15 – Day 15

Temperature: 85 ° F.

It feels like summer today.  Warm and humid, there is a storm system off to the northwest of us.  Maybe it will rain tonight.  Spent the afternoon, working on the gardens. Carwyn thinks we have too many plants.
